More Katie and a bridal shower

I finally got finished with the edits for Katie D's photos. She is a beautiful dark hair and dark eyed girl with a small voice and a big talent.  Her calm and gorgeous smile made me very happy I was taking her photos!!

Red is definitely her color.  She has this china like skin that just makes me want to hand her a hat to protect it from the sun!!  GORGEOUS!!

Her eyes are actually dark, but in the sun they shone almost green!  It was great.

 On Sunday we went to the park and she had on this red dress that just begged me to take photos that were slightly nostalgic.....don't you think so??

I have been waiting for a good time to bring my old suitcases out and this was it.  Her trench coat made a wonderful addition!!

Next we have Brittany's shower from Nov. 5.  It was held in a lovely room at the Catawba Country Club.  it was given by my sister, Gail's, friends Karen Smart and Phyliss Moore.  It was a dishes theme and Brittany racked up....I believe that she got almost all of her everyday dishes and glasses.

They are 2 of Gail's best friends and they did a great job on this first shower for Brittany.

These are Clark's sweet and lovely grandmothers. How lucky we were to have them at this shower!  LOVED talking to Dot!

 Beautiful Jennifer, my niece, and her daughter, Jaden, were also there and I loved seeing them.  It has been a while.  Love you, Jenn.

 As Brittany unpacked and opened gifts...Mandy and Jenn repacked and put into a safe place all the dishes and things Brittany was receiving.

 As each guest came in, they were asked to write their best advise to a happy marriage on a card.  This is Brittany reading the card.....and yes, I cried at some of them!!

 This is Gail and her friends.....they are so good and so supportive of her!

Mandy and I had a lovely time and are looking forward to the shower in 2 weeks!!
