Brittany and Clark

By now if there is anyone left reading this blog, you know that my darling niece got married last weekend. It was a wonderful time with family and friends and I am still trying to organize my photos to show.....more  in a few days... but for now, this:
Okay, I am now back with a few shots from the morning of the wedding. My job was to take a few shots of the girls getting ready for the wedding at the salon.  It was a nice place with great staff who really did a wonderful job getting everyone in and out in plenty of time...we started at 8:00am.

The salon had these funky hot pink medallions hanging all over and some planters filled with deep purple and fuscia cattail looking thingies!  They were very cool and the couches were a deep purple.  It also had these candelabra with purple candles, that no matter how many times I straightened them, fell crooked again!

Clark's mom and little sister had the very first appointments followed by Jennifer for her makeup.  It was early and Jenn was so sweet and went by Starbucks.  I was brought a great cup of chai tea.....so needed it, too.

The day would be a long one for Jaden and for Jennifer, so resting at every opportunity was necessary.
Jaden, before makeup and hair...
This is Katelyn...the sweetest girl with the most gorgeous smile that was given readily and often.

This bright face belongs to Sarah.  She laughed easily and made me wish I was more like her cause she made me smile just watching her.

Brittany and one of Clark's sisters waiting for their turn..
This is Casey. I kept wondering why the girl was even there!  Her hair was great and I actually thought they had done her makeup when in fact, they had not even started it yet!!!  Oh to be young and beautiful like Casey!!
Casey lives in Charlotte and she and my daughter hit it off at one of Brittany's showers and seem to be headed toward a very nice friendship.  She is as sweet and caring as she is pretty!
This is Katie, the maid of honor.  And no one has ever had as wonderful a MOH!! She did everything and I do mean everything for Brittany and my sister, Gail, before this wedding.  She knew ahead of time what was expected and she handled things.....from finishing the cleaning at Gail's house to having thread that matched to fix the straps on Jenn's dress as they were dressing for the wedding.....the girl was on fire  she was so prepared!!  I actually have known Katie longer than the other girls, and she has a very special place in my heart since she and Brittany have been good friends for so long.

Katie got busted for breaking one of the wedding rules.....no gum!! And Britt caught her...lol!!
Taking care of the lists and of Brittany and everyone else was her calling for the day and she sailed through each command with ease...you are awesome, Katie!

Here Brittany is checking her lists and writing checks for the vendors she used on her special day.
And now it is Gail's turn to get beautiful.........she starts out with an advantage cause she already is so pretty.  On this day, she was smiling and happy.  Nothing will take the joy and happiness off her face today..her baby is getting married!

And then it is finally Jaden's turn....she could not wait and did her best to tell the stylist how to do her hair......
Not sure who talked more, Jaden or the stylist fixing her hair...lol.  Honestly, it was a toss up.

All finished and looking great and sassy!!
Brittany finally takes her place in the chair and gets ready for her for makeup and hair for her wedding.

Now all the girls are finished with makeup and hair and they are starving.  By now it is almost 1pm and they leave to get food and then meet at Rock Barn.

Gail and Jennifer look wonderful and I love this photo (even if blogger ruins it when it uploads!)
Next up, family photos and Brittany's bridals........

Hi Aunt Sue!

Thanks so much for capturing my big day. I love these pictures! Especially the gum, ha ha!

Love you!
